Finstall First School opened in 1992 replacing the original school which was situated in Stoke Road. The school is a spacious light school with a large reception, library area and large hall which doubles up as a gym.

The school teaches boys and girls from the ages 4 to 9 years old, and has approx 300 pupils over 5 year groups.
